Osseus Fusion Systems launches 3D-printed TLIF device — 4 insights

Surface Technology

Osseus Fusion Systems on Feb. 4 launched Aries-TS, its 3D-printed transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion device.

Four insights:

1. The company's Aries devices are designed with porous titanium material to support bone fusion.

2. Osseus' Aries products for lumbar interbody fusion feature a mesh lattice structure, which decreases cage stiffness and optimizes bone graft packability.

3. Aries-TS is intended for intervertebral body fusion procedures in skeletally mature patients with degenerative disc disease of the lumbar spine at one or two contiguous levels from L2 to S1.

4. The device also offers aid to grade 1 spondylolisthesis or retrolisthesis at the involved level or levels.
