Jason Emmenderfer is the new director of orthopedics and sports medicine at Cape Girardeau, Mo.-based SoutheastHealth, according to local CBS affiliate KFVS-TV.
Mr. Emmenderfer is a physical therapist with certification as a strength and conditioning specialist.
Since joining SoutheastHealth in 1997, Mr. Emmenderfer has worked in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. He was promoted to manager of HealthPoint Rehab in 2004.
Most recently, in 2018, Mr. Emmenderfer was installed as director of Southeast's Rehabilitation Services at HealthPoint Plaza in Cape Girardeau.
