The Steadman Clinic welcomes 11 orthopedic surgeons for sports medicine fellowship

Eleven orthopedic surgeons began sports medicine fellowships at The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colo.

Each year The Steadman Clinic enrolls a team of fellows to expand their surgical and research skills in a 12 month program. 

The fellows will focus on the causes, treatment and prevention of injuries and must complete two original research projects suitable for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.

Here are the 11 fellows for the 2019-20 class and the hospitals or universities where they completed their residencies:

Adam Johannsen, MD. Stanford Hospital and Clinics (Palo Alto, Calif.)
TJ Ridley, MD. University of Minnesota (Minneapolis)
