Steadman Philippon Research Institute's Vail (Colo.) Scientific Summit celebrated its five-year anniversary.
Four things to know:
1. The theme of this year's event focuses on advances in regenerative medicine.
2. Scientists, researchers, surgeons and physicians in the fields of regenerative, translational and orthopedic medicine will attend the event Aug. 24-27 at Vail Marriott Mountain Resort.
3. Topics of discussion include spine and vertebral issues, bone regeneration, aging, muscle, cartilage, ligament and tendons.
4. Johnny Huard, PhD, chief scientific officer of SPRI created the event in the summer of 2015.
