The Maryland Black Bears of the North American Hockey League welcomed Columbia, N.D.-based MedStar Health as its official medical team, reports Eye on Annapolis.
Three things to know:
1. MedStar Health will provide treatment for the Black Bears team both on and off the ice.
2. The healthcare company has partnerships with the Washington Capitals, Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles.
3. MedStar Health will also treat athletes of Team Maryland, the Black Bears' Eastern Hockey League affiliate.
