New York City-based Northwell Health will provide all medical services at the 2019 PGA Championship at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, N.Y., May 13-19.
What you should know:
1. In addition to the players, Northwell will provide care to any volunteer or spectator who gets injured on the course.
2. Northwell will have three on-course medical stations.
3. Northwell emergency medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons, registered nurses and certified athletic trainers will be at the championship.
4. PGA Championship Sales and Partnership Director John Handley said, "Health and wellness are key components of the game of golf, and we're delighted that Northwell Health will serve as the Official Healthcare Provider of the 2019 PGA Championship."
