From a spine surgeon debuting a new interbody cage to surgeon moves, here are four spine surgeons making headlines over the past week:

Glenwood Springs, Colo.-based Spine Center at Valley View is welcoming spine surgeon Stanley Gertzbein, MD.

Nima Salari, MD, was reportedly the first spine surgeon to implant the new dualX interbody cage after it was launched by Amplify Surgical.

Neurosurgeon Abdallah Farrukh, MD, has been reelected to the Antelope Valley Hospital board of directors, which he has served on since 2000.

NYU Langone Ambulatory Care Bay Ridge in New York City has added 10 physicians, including spine surgeon Juan Rodriguez-Olaverri, MD, PhD.
