University of California San Francisco neurosurgeon Edward Chang, MD, has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine.
Membership in the academy is achieved by demonstrating outstanding achievements and commitment to service in the medical sciences, healthcare and public health.
Dr. Chang is chair of the department of neurological surgery and a member of the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences.
He specializes in the treatment of epilepsy, brain tumors, trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm and movement disorders.
