Here are seven spine and neurosurgeons making the news this week.

Scott Blumenthal, MD, and five other spine surgeons from Texas Back Institute in Plano, spoke to Becker's about artificial disc replacement, 20 years after he performed the first procedure in the U.S.

Medical cannabis operator Curaleaf appointed Jaswinder Grover, MD, to its board of directors.

Keith Norvill, DO, joined CHI St. Vincent Neurosurgery Clinic in Hot Springs, Ark.

More than $90,000 was raised for Houston-based spine surgeon Rex Marco, MD, who became quadriplegic after a traumatic bike accident.
