Spine surgeons at HCA Healthcare's Swedish Medical Center completed the hospital's first spine surgery with the Mazor X Stealth Edition platform.

1. The Englewood, Colo.-based hospital used the system to treat a patient who fell from a tree.
2. Hospital neurosurgeon Peter Syre, MD, touted the system's many patient-facing advantages, including less postsurgical pain and a decreased chance of future surgery.
3. Swedish Medical Center believes it is one of the first hospital's in the Rocky Mountain region to install the surgical planning device.
