VA seeks to hire neurosurgeon in Arizona: 4 notes

The VA in Tucson, Ariz., seeks to hire a neurosurgeon, according to a job posting on LemonWire.

To qualify for the position, applicants must meet the following requirements by Sept. 30, 2019:

1. Have U.S. citizenship (non-citizens may be appointed only when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens).

2. Have a medical degree or doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from a school approved by the VA for the year in which the degree was conferred. 

3. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.

4. Have completed residency training approved by the VA in an accredited core specialty training program, leading to board certification eligibility.
