Healthcare concierge Hall of Fame Health, partner of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, has formed a new spine advisory board.
The advisory team aims to develop a nationwide network of Spine Elite Care Centers, bringing together medical and orthopedic spine specialists across the U.S., according to a Jan. 17 news release.
Dallas-based Carrell Clinic will serve as the inaugural facility in the network, which will eventually comprise eight specialized centers dedicated to spine care.
Hall of Fame Health is also partnering with Medtronic to expand access to back and neck pain, as well as spinal and neurological conditions.
HFH was formed through a request from Pro Football Hall of Famers who witnessed teammates struggling with health issues. It connects former professional athletes and families, collegiate alumni groups and conferences, and veteran organizations to medical and behavioral healthcare. The firm also advises individuals and families on their benefits and helps advocate and educate members on insurance and care, according to the release.
The inaugural Hall of Fame Health spine advisory board includes:
Drew Dossett, MD, chairman, Dallas
Will Hotchkiss, MD, Dallas
Patrick Johnson, MD, Los Angeles
Paul Kim, MD, Charlotte, N.C.
Ron Lehman Jr., MD, New York City
Fred Marciano, MD, Phoenix
John Small, MD, Tampa, Fla.
