Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Howard Yeon of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute

Howard B. Yeon, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon at Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute's new Montvale, N.J. location.

Dr. Yeon treats cervical and lumbar spine disorders using reconstructive, open and minimally invasive techniques. He received his medical degree from the Cambridge-based Harvard-Massachusetts Institute of Technology Health Sciences and Technology program, a collaboration between Boston-based Harvard Medical School and Cambridge-based MIT. Dr. Yeon underwent spine surgery and scoliosis fellowship training at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.

Dr. Yeon's research has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed scientific journals. He holds a U.S. patent for a less invasive spinal implant. Dr. Yeon also holds a law degree from Harvard Law School in Cambridge.
