A 14-year-old girl was reportedly the first patient in the U.K. with scoliosis to undergo spine surgery with Medtronic's Mazor X Stealth Edition, according to Brinkwire.

The procedure was performed with the robotic system at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, in November.

The Mazor X robot enables spine surgeons to create personalized 3D surgical plans before surgery. It also assists surgeons with the accurate implantation of pedicle screws.
