Orthopedic devicemaker Ossio received FDA clearance for its Ossiofiber suture anchors and aims to launch three products in 2022.
The suture anchors are the third Ossiofiber product to receive clearance in the last four months, according to a March 29 news release. They're designed for fixation of soft tissue to bone in the shoulder, foot and ankle, knee and hand and wrist. A U.S. launch is planned for the second quarter of 2022.
Two other products, the Ossiofiber compression staples and Ossiofiber 3.5-millimeter compression screws, were cleared in January and December, respectively. Both are expected to launch in the third quarter of 2022.
