Here are 10 things to know about Seattle-based Proliance Surgeons in 2020:

1. It's one of the largest orthopedic practices in the U.S., with 142 physicians and surgeons as of July this year.

2. Proliance has 19 ASCs, according to its website.

3. The company's mission is, "To be the leader in physician-managed healthcare services."

4. It entered into a value-based arrangement with Regence, according to an Oct. 29 announcement.

5. At the start of the year, it adopted Cisco's Application Centric Infrastructure to facilitate software-defined networking.

6. During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, elective surgeries were postponed until the end of March at some care centers and ASCs.

7. Proliance Surgeons' ASCs in Seattle, Kirkland and Bellevue, Wash., were named in Newsweek's "America's Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers 2021."

8. Kenneth Overbey, who was COO at Proliance, moved on to become CEO of Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho-Triangle Region.

9. In March, Proliance Surgeons signed a contract to use Andor Health's mobile care team collaboration platform, ThinkAndor.

10. Proliance surgeons welcomed 18 physicians this year, according to its website.
