Alaska

Aaron Humphreys, MD, joined Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center.

Arizona

Gil Ortega, MD, was named chair of the Orthopaedic Co-Management company, in partnership with Scottsdale-based HonorHealth.

Arkansas

Hot Springs-based National Park Medical Center hired Edward Rhomberg, MD.

Lowry Barnes, MD, of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, was appointed president of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

California

Edward Vanek, DO, was tapped to serve as medical adviser to the mayor of Atwater.

Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles appointed Neal ElAttrache, MD, to its board of directors.

Colorado

Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies added George Le, MD.

Braden Jones, MD, was hired by Southwest Health System in Cortez.

Solon Rosenblatt, MD, joined Centura Health-St. Thomas More Hospital in Cañon City.

Katie Bartush, MD, and Marissa Jamieson, MD, joined the foot and ankle fellowship program at The Steadman Clinic in Vail.

Florida

360 Orthopedics named Jeffrey Silverstein, MD, chief of surgery at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota.

The Joint Replacement Institute in Naples onboarded Daniel Harmon, DO.

Georgia

David Brcka, MD, Virginia Jones, MD, Susan Jordan, MD, and Domenic Scalamogna, MD, moved to a Newnan, Ga., facility opened by OrthoAtlanta and Atlanta-based Piedmont Orthopedics.

Idaho

Dan Robinson, DPM, was sworn in as a member of the Blackfoot-based Bingham Healthcare board of directors.

Marvin Kym, MD, joined St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.

Illinois

Chicago-based nonprofit Nth Dimensions appointed Bonnie Mason, MD, senior adviser to its board of directors.

Springfield-based HSHS Medical Group opened an orthopedic and sports medicine clinic in Greenville with Scott Urch, MD.

Chicago-based Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush added Vasili Karas, MD.

Kansas

Lionel Gottschalk, MD, joined Centura Health-Siena Medical Clinic in Garden City.

Kentucky

Shawn Price, MD, opened Fortis Orthopaedic & Sarcoma Group in Louisville.

Sanjiv Mehta, MD, is opening an orthopedic practice at Elizabethtown-based Hardin Memorial Health.

William Ben Kibler, MD, retired from Lexington Clinic Orthopedics–Sports Medicine after 43 years of practice.

Louisiana

The Louisiana Orthopaedic Association appointed Michael Leddy III, MD, as president.

Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain onboarded Melissa Koenig, MD.

Olean-based Upper Allegheny Health System  elected Shabir Bhayani, MD, to its board.

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center hired Scott Nodzo, MD, Kathleen Keely Boyle, MD, and Benjamin Levy, MD.

Scott Gray, MD, and Matthew Rogell, MD, recently joined Somers Orthopedics.

Ohio

Cleveland-based Mark Froimson, MD, was appointed executive director of clinician engagement at medical investment company AngelMD .

Pennsylvania

ValueHealth appointed William Hozack, MD, of Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, as medical director.

Jeffrey Vakil, MD, joined Premier Orthopaedics in Chestnut Hill.
