OrthoVirginia adds 4 orthopedic surgeons

Richmond-based OrthoVirginia welcomed four fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons this month.

Elliott Kim, MD, joins as an orthopedic surgeon who completed a specialized fellowship in spine surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.

Johnathan Bernard, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon who completed a sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and an AO short-fellowship in orthopedic trauma at the Hospital University of Geneva, Switzerland.

Orthopedic surgeon Nathan Coleman, MD, specializes in sports medicine as well as knee and shoulder care. He also completed a sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship at HSS.

William Petersen, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacements as well as hip and knee care. He completed a fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at New York University Langone Orthopaedic Hospital/Insall-Scott-Kelly Institute for Orthopedics in New York City.

Drs. Bernard and Coleman are seeing patients at the Herndon location. Dr. Kim is seeing patients at the Arlington and Springfield offices while Dr. Peterson is accepting patients at the Arlington and Fair Oaks locations, all in Virginia.
