Pittsfield, Mass.-based Berkshire Medical Center again earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for total hip and knee replacements, the Berkshire Eagle reports.
Joint Commission surveyors reviewed BMC's standards and practices April 24. The certification denotes a program that works to elevate quality, consistency and safety standards around total joint replacement procedures.
