Orthopedic facilities have seen major growth in 2022, with several big name clinics breaking ground on new locations. Here are 16 orthopedic facility ground breakings Becker's has reported on since January.
1. In January, Advanced Orthopedic Associates broke ground on a 47,000-square-foot building in Wichita, Kan.
2. In February, Novant Health and New Hanover Regional Medical Center broke ground on a $210 million orthopedic hospital in Wilmington, N.C.
3. In February, Legacy Orthopedics and Sports Medicine broke ground on a second facility in Allen, Texas.
4. In February, Modern Orthopedics broke ground on a new location in Paramus, N.J.
5. In March, Montefiore Orthopedics broke ground on a 60,000-square-foot Center of Excellence in West Nyack, N.Y.
6. In April, Banner Health broke ground on a $54 million sports medicine facility in Scottsdale, Ariz.
7. In May, Youngstown Orthopedic Associates broke ground on an ASC expansion in Ohio.
8. In May, Geisinger broke ground on a $180 million orthopedic center in Pennsylvania.
