U.S. Orthopaedic Partners announced its intent to partner with Birmingham, Ala.-based Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center on July 7.
Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center operates six facilities in the Birmingham area with 21 physicians.
"Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center is one of the most well-known and fastest growing orthopedic sports medicine care specialists in the country, and we are excited about the growth prospects ahead for our mutual organizations," said Larry Field, MD, a surgeon at Jackson-based Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.
U.S. Orthopaedic Partners formed in October 2020 after FFL Partners invested in Mississippi Sports Medicine in Jackson. The company also acquired two Mississippi practices in March.
