Children's Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs is expanding services at four locations in the city, local NBC affiliate KOAA reports.

What you should know:

1. The system plans to open an outpatient location with an urgent care and an outpatient location with behavioral health, developmental pediatrics and therapy services. The system will expand its Briargate, Colo., outpatient and specialty care center and add 16 beds at the Colorado Springs hospital.

2. The second new location will offer an array of specialties, including sports medicine. There will also be an outdoor playground recreation area at the facility.

3. Construction will begin on that facility in late 2020.
