Work progressing on Adena's $70M orthopedic, robotic surgery center — 4 insights

Chillicothe, Ohio-based Adena Health System is building an orthopedic and robotic surgery center, which will open in the summer of 2021, the Record Herald reports.

What you should know:

1. The surgery center will be known as the Adena Bone & Joint Center.

2. The center will house Adena's orthopedics and robotic surgery program.

3. Adena committed $70 million to the five-story addition.

4. Adena notably earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Total Hip and Knee Replacement, one of five facilities in Ohio to do so.
