Zimmer Biomet, Conformis & more: 8 device company leadership moves in 60 days

From the CFO of Zimmer Biomet's spine and dental spinoff to MicroPort Orthopedics' medical director, here are eight leadership moves since Sept. 12:

1. Richard Heppenstall was named executive vice president and CFO of ZimVie, Zimmer Biomet's spine and dental spinoff.

2. Augmedics named Raj Asarpota as executive vice president and CFO.

3. Mark Foster, president and CEO of Malvern, Pa.-based orthopedic device company Trice Medical, joined Salt Lake City-based surgical technology company Xenocor as a member of its board of directors.

4. Jeff Cambra, a medtech executive who spent 12 years at Medtronic and most recently worked for Zimmer Biomet, has been appointed CEO of SpinaFX Medical.

5. Medical device company MicroPort Orthopedics appointed orthopedic surgeon C. Lowry Barnes, MD, as medical director.

6. Jan De Witte was named Integra LifeSciences' new president and CEO.

7. Conformis named former Johnson & Johnson executive James Paiva as its vice president of U.S. marketing.

8. David Dvorak, who previously led Zimmer Biomet, was named executive chair of the board of directors at medical device company Think Surgical.
