Here are seven updates from spine and orthopedic device companies in the last week:

1. Johnson & Johnson's orthopedic sales bounced back in the first quarter, increasing 1.2 percent year over year. Read details from its financial report here.

2. Stryker posted $1.5 billion in first-quarter orthopedics sales, a 21.4 percent increase compared to the first quarter of 2020. Read more details here.

4. Spinal Elements received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Lucent 3D interbody device.

5. Medtronic's StealthStation S8 surgical system will use Surgical Theater's SyncAR augmented reality interface in a new partnership.

6. Orthofix has entered into an exclusive license agreement to commercialize Italy-based IGEA's bone, cartilage and soft tissue devices in the U.S. and Canada.

7. The FDA gave 510(k) clearance for Orthofix's Forza Ti TLIF spacer system.
