MicroPort Orthopedics launched two collared hip stems, expanding its portfolio.
The Profemur Gladiator HA Collared Stem and Profemur Gladiator Cemented Stem complete Microport's Gladiator hip stem system, according to a Feb. 18 news release. The stems are used in total hip replacements and low-demand fractures.
The Profemur Gladiator hip stems all have a triple-wedge tapered design and are made for tissue-sparing techniques.
