Here are four orthopedic device company acquisitions announced or completed in the past month.

Anika Therapeutics is set to acquire sports medicine company Parcus Medical and Arthrosurface, a joint surface and preservation solutions company, during the first quarter. Anika will acquire all membership interests of Parcus for $35 million with $60 million in potential incentives and Arthrosurface for $60 million with $40 million in potential incentives. 

Parvizi Surgical Innovation acquired a minority share of hip replacement surgical device company Navbit Holdings. Navbit developed the Navbit Sprint, a disposable, single-use surgical navigation system that assists with positioning acetabular cups during hip replacement surgery. 

Conventus Orthopaedics acquired all assets of IntraFuse as part of its expansion into the lower extremity market. IntraFuse is a startup operated by Surgical Frontiers that develops intramedullary implants for minimally invasive fracture repairs.
