Ortoma is extending its Ortoma Treatment Solution for hip surgery with a platform for spine surgery, the company announced Nov. 8.
Three things to know:
1. The OTS system is verified for hip surgery. Its high accuracy and safety deem it suitable for applications in other joints and spine surgery, according to the company.
2. Surgeons can use MR data with the OTS system to plan spine operations.
3. Ortoma plans to adapt OTS for spine surgery in the first quarter of 2020.
