Zimmer Biomet launched its Stratum foot plating system, which will be exhibited at the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society Annual Meeting in Chicago from Sept. 12 to 15.

Three insights:

1. Stratum is an anatomic locking plate seeking to decrease OR time and optimize ease of use.

2. The device features tine technology for hand-free application, pre-assembled compression ramps on the plates, and locking, non-locking and multidirectional locking screws.

3. Stratum has 11 separate plate options and six sets of screws, allowing for various screw combinations.
