Four things to know:
1. DePuy will acquire JointPoint's navigation software, which it plans to develop for further orthopedic procedures.
2. The software provides precise analysis for implant selection and positioning in hip replacements and helps surgeons create more reproducible clinical outcomes.
3. The acquisition is expected to be finalized by the end of the year.
