California hospital offers Carevature technology for removing bony pathologies in spine

Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, Calif., is providing new technology from Carevature Medical to preserve soft tissue and bone crucial to patient's spinal stability.

Four things to know:

1. Carevature's Dreal technology helps surgeons safely extract bony pathologies at all levels of the spine.

2. It allows spine surgeons to target impinging bone causing pain while preserving adjacent soft tissue and bone.

3. Dreal is intended to treat patients suffering from lumbar spinal stenosis and other degenerative spine conditions.

4. SGH is operated by San Diego-based Scripps Health.
