Life Spine received additional FDA 510(k) clearance for its Prolift expandable spacer system in eight millimeter to 10 millimeter widths.
Three things to know:
1. The Prolift device is designed to decrease the need for surgical processes such as sequential trialing and consequently shortening operating room time.
2. Life Spine developed the smaller widths to reduce patient trauma through smaller incisions and less retraction.
3. The new width sizes enable Life Spine to accommodate a larger range of patients with different pathologies.
