Inspired Spine hosted a training course in Burnsville, Minn., on its oblique lateral lumbar interbody fusion procedure on a porcine model.

1. The course represented the first training of this kind for the company.
2. The two-day training attracted surgeons from various countries.
3. In addition to the hands-on training, the event also featured presentations on Inspired Spine's minimally invasive procedures and patient case reviews.
4. Inspired Spine CMO Hamid Abbasi, MD, PhD, said the porcine model offers "a cost-effective method to teach this technique on a global scale," in a press release.
5. The company is constructing its Total Spinal Health and Technology Campus in Burnsville, which will serve as a global training program venue.
