Onkos Surgical launches bone scaffold for orthopedic revision surgeries, tumors

Onkos Surgical on Feb. 6 launched GenVie Magnesium Bone Scaffold, a magnesium-based bone void filler for orthopedic conditions.

Three insights:

1. GenVie is an injectable and moldable bone void filler, featuring osteoconductive and high compression strength properties to help with bone repair and regeneration.

2. The bone scaffold expands Onkos Surgical's portfolio into complex limb salvage procedures.

3. GenVie is designed for surgically created osseous defects or osseous defects formed by traumatic injury to the bone.
